Bonjour à tous! My name is Kaela Mijos and I am a junior at the Georgia Institute of Technology majoring in Business Administration. I am twenty years old and live in Lawrenceville, GA. I have two dogs, three turtles, a fish, and good amount of (semi) alive plants. In love building, videography, any water sport, playing with puppies, cooking, and riding electric scooters. I speak un poco de español et un peu de français although I hope to improve these skills while studying abroad.
I chose to go to GTL, because I am fascinated by the history and culture that is around every corner in Europe. The GTL campus is at the center of Europe: a practically perfect location. Just three hours from Paris and very close to Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany. I am extremely excited to see the places I have spent my life reading about and pinning. My bucket list is so long that it has its own subsections: places, activities, food, personal, etc. I am looking forward to start checking things off!
Some bucket list items include: ride a gondola, eat a crepe, visit cathedrals, go to museums, make pasta from scratch.
Through this blog, I am going to share how I balance keeping up with my school work and traveling throughout Europe. I hope that through my stories and pictures you will feel as though you are traveling alongside me.
